Century Arms CA-3 7.62 NATO 18" 20rd Fixed Stock Rifle

The Century Arms CA-3 is a military surplus sourced G3 assembled by PTR, built for shooters who want the classic battle rifle with a lot of its original parts. It is chambered in 7.62 NATO, runs a roller delayed blowback action, and feeds from a 20 round magazine with one included. The 18 inch chrome moly barrel is threaded 5/8-24 and wears a birdcage style flash hider.

Original surplus parts include the fixed stock, forend, adjustable front sight, rotary aperture rear sight, the trigger group (modified for compliance), and the bolt and bolt carrier. PTR supplies the new trunnion, barrel, flash hider, stamped steel receiver, hammer, sear and charging handle. The receiver accepts claw mounts for optics, and the rifle keeps the button and paddle magazine release. Overall length is 40.5 inches and weight is 9.5 lbs, which soaks up a lot of the recoil. It is a solid way to put a piece of Cold War history on the range without hunting down an original.
