About the Canik VOID-556K 5.56 NATO
The VOID-556K is the short configuration of Canik's 5.56 can, trimmed to 5.1" and 12.3 oz. Cutting length off a suppressor costs some sound reduction and buys back handling, and on a carbine that already carries a light and an optic that trade is often worth making. The tube is heat treated stainless steel with a Cerakote finish, built to be run hard rather than babied.
The mounting setup carries over from the full length model. Industry standard 1.375x24 HUB threads sit at the rear with a 1/2-28 direct thread adapter included, so it fits an existing mount system or goes straight onto the barrel. Solid and low back pressure end caps both come with it, letting the owner choose between the quietest setting and less gas coming back through the action. Diameter stays at 1.625" with the first baffle 1.8" back.
