Canik METE SF Topo 9mm 4.19" 15rd Pistol

Topo takes its name from a topographic map pattern, one of the finishes Canik puts on the METE SF under the One Series banner. The base gun is a compact 9mm: striker fired, polymer framed, running a 4.19" barrel behind a slide that leaves the factory already cut for a red dot. It falls into the size class most shooters end up in eventually, big enough to shoot well on a timer and small enough to carry when it needs to.

What separates a METE from the rest of the polymer field is the trigger and the way the frame sits in the hand. The trigger face is flat with a short, positive reset, and the grip geometry puts the bore low enough that the gun tracks straight in recoil instead of climbing. This SKU includes one 15rd magazine. Interchangeable backstraps come in the box for hand fit, and the magazine release reverses for left handed shooters. As a home defense pistol it has the capacity and the optic ready slide to be taken seriously, and the patterned finish gives it more personality than the wall of black polymer guns it sits next to. None of the Topo treatment changes the mechanics. It is the same pistol underneath, wearing a different face.
