Canik Mete MC9L 9mm 3.18" 17rd FDE Pistol

Canik built the MC9L for people who want carry length with real capacity. The 3.18" barrel keeps the front end short, but the grip runs long enough to hold 17 rounds and give a full firing grip with no pinky hanging in the air. Empty weight is 22.22 oz. Sights are a white dot front against a blacked out rear, which pushes the eye to the front sight instead of splitting attention across three dots. It takes standard and higher capacity Canik magazines, so spares are not a problem.

The box is where Canik separates itself. Two 17 round magazines come along, plus a finger extension baseplate, a magazine loader, a fitted holster, a punch and tool kit, cleaning brush and jag rod, three grip backstraps for tuning the reach to the trigger, a lock, a manual, and a storage case. Most makers sell half of that separately. This particular gun is a Shooters Model, which means it left the line new in the box with a minor cosmetic imperfection in the finish, the kind of thing that takes a trained eye or a magnifier to find. Mechanically it is a new pistol with the full accessory kit. The flat dark earth finish is a departure from standard black.
