Canik Mete MC9 Prime 9mm 3.64" 17rd Gold TALO Pistol

Canik took the micro compact MC9 and rebuilt the parts shooters complained about. The MC9 Prime gets a longer grip with full stippling and a 17 round magazine, so the pistol carries like a small gun and shoots like a compact. The slide and barrel are compensated with a blast chamber that vents gas upward, which flattens the muzzle noticeably for a 9mm this size.

The flat face trigger has a short, positive reset, the slide is cut for a red dot, and tritium night sights come on the gun rather than as an upgrade. The 3.64" barrel and the added grip real estate make follow up shots easier than on the standard MC9, and Canik still includes a full accessory kit with the pistol. This TALO edition wears a black slide with gold accents and comes with a Gun Owners of America challenge coin, and two 17rd magazines are in the case. Between the compensator, the grip texture, and the sights, the Prime is one of the more shootable guns in the micro compact class straight out of the box, and it gives up very little to a full size pistol on a timer.
