Canik Mete MC9 Prime 9mm 3.64" 17rd Bullshark Pistol

The Mete MC9 Prime sits at the top of Canik's micro compact line, and the compensator is the reason. Canik machined an expansion chamber into the slide and ported the 3.64" barrel into it, so gas that would otherwise flip the muzzle gets vented straight up. On a gun this small that is a noticeable difference, and it shows up most on the second and third shots of a string. Capacity is 17 rounds in a frame narrow enough to carry, which is the trade most micro compacts refuse to make.

Sights are Night Fision tritium front and rear, so the dot is there when the light is not. The slide is steel, serrated at both ends, and milled for a red dot on the Shield RMSc footprint with no adapter plate needed. The polymer frame carries a Picatinny rail for a light and an aggressive texture on the grip. The trigger is a flat face aluminum unit. Two magazines come in the box. What sets this SKU apart from the plain black gun is the Bullshark finish, a distinct colorway on a class of pistol where almost everything else is matte black.
