Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed 7mm Rem Mag 26" 3rd Mossy Oak Bottomland Rifle

The 26" barrel is the point of this build. 7mm Rem Mag burns a lot of powder and a longer tube turns more of it into velocity instead of muzzle flash. Browning fluted the sporter contour barrel to hold weight down, threaded the muzzle under a radial brake, and included a thread protector. The barrel and the steel receiver both wear Smoked Bronze Cerakote, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for bases.

Handling a long barreled magnum comes down to fit, and the Vari-Tech composite stock adjusts for length of pull, comb height, and grip angle. Set up correctly, a braked 7mm Rem Mag is a rifle most shooters can run a full box through in an afternoon without picking up bad habits. Mossy Oak Bottomland camo covers the composite shell, the steel receiver takes standard scope bases, and the detachable rotary magazine holds 3 rounds. This is a rifle for open country where shots stretch out: high desert mule deer, elk on the far slope, or a pronghorn that has no intention of letting anyone inside 400 yards.
