The Browning X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro SPR CF in 300 Winchester Magnum is the heavy-hitter in the Mountain Pro SPR family. A 22" carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless barrel, carbon fiber stock with adjustable comb, Pro stainless receiver, spiral fluted bolt, and aluminum bolt handle combine to give 300 Win Mag performance in a package that still packs on the mountain. 5/8-24 muzzle threads ship with Browning's Recoil Hawg muzzle brake installed, and the entire rifle wears a Cerakote finish.
A 22" barrel on 300 Win Mag gives up only modest velocity versus a 26" tube but picks up real handling in timber and off a pack. The X-Bolt 2 receiver brings a refined trigger, smoother bolt stroke, and 60-degree bolt lift.
