Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion SPR 30-06 Sprg 18" 4rd Walnut Rifle

The X-Bolt 2 Medallion SPR is the dressed up end of Browning's X-Bolt 2 line. The stock is Grade III walnut with rosewood caps and a gloss finish, and the receiver is gloss blued with scroll engraving cut into it. It is a rifle that looks like a rifle used to look, on an action that is current.

The SPR part is the practical half. The barrel is a sporter contour cut to 18 inches and threaded at the muzzle, which is a short barrel by hunting rifle standards and is there to make room for a suppressor without turning the rifle into something unwieldy. A radial muzzle brake comes installed on the threads. The receiver is steel, drilled and tapped, and uses Browning's X-Lock scope mounting system, which puts four screws into each base instead of two. Chambered in 30-06 Springfield with a four round magazine, this is a hunting rifle first and a display piece second, and it has the walnut to be both.
