The Browning X-Bolt 2 Max Long Range Sporter in 6.5 Creedmoor is the easy-shooting version of the Max LR line: a 22" threaded sporter barrel, the new X-Bolt 2 action, and the Max composite stock with adjustable comb and DLX pattern. 6.5 Creedmoor in a 22" barrel still pushes modern match and hunting bullets to sensible velocities, and the lighter recoil makes it a better option for most shooters who do not need the thump of a 7 PRC or 300 Win Mag.
The X-Bolt 2 receiver adds a refined trigger, a smoother bolt stroke, and 60-degree lift that clears larger ocular bells. 5/8-24 muzzle threads come from the factory, the rotary magazine detaches for cleaning, and the top-tang safety stays natural for a right-handed shooter.
