About this product

The Browning Maxus II 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun builds on the revered Maxus series by blending the original's proven platform with refinements that give hunters and competitors real advantages in the field and on the range. With Browning's Power Drive gas system and back-bored 28" vent rib barrel, the Maxus II runs a wide range of factory loads with reduced recoil and consistent patterns, making it a go-to for waterfowl, turkey, upland birds and clay target work; the nickel Teflon coating plus chrome chamber and bore fight corrosion and simplify cleaning after salt or wet conditions. The synthetic Realtree Timber stock with SoftFlex cheek pad, overmolded grip panels and Reactar G3 shoulder pad provide improved ergonomics and shooting comfort during long sits or back-to-back sporting clays, while the Lightning trigger and Invector-Plus extended chokes (F, M, IC) deliver crisp break and adaptable patterns. Features like the screw-on magazine cap, TurnKey magazine plug, crossbolt safety, 3.5" chamber, 4+1 capacity, fixed stock, fiber optic front sight with ivory mid bead, 7 lb weight and durable ABS case round out a semi-auto shotgun engineered for reliability, controllability and real-world hunting performance.
