The Browning Maxus II 12 Gauge semi-auto combines the original Maxus platform with refinements that matter in the marsh, blind or on the skeet field, delivering a 26" back-bored vent rib barrel, 3.5" chamber and a 4+1 (2.75") capacity for handling heavy waterfowl loads or fast-following target presentations. Its Power Drive gas system tames recoil and cycles a wide range of factory ammunition reliably, while the Invector-Plus extended choke set (F, M, IC) and Lightning trigger give crisp breaks and controllable patterns for turkey, upland or clay shooting. The full coverage Mossy Oak Bottomland synthetic stock with overmolded grip panels and SoftFlex cheek pad, paired with Browning's Reactar G3 shoulder pad and Inflex Technology recoil pad, improves comfort during long sits and rapid follow-up shots; an adjustable feel is achieved with the screw-on magazine cap and TurnKey magazine plug for compliance.
