Browning Citori White Lightning 28 GA 28" Shotgun

This Citori White Lightning is Browning's special limited version of the classic Lightning field gun, built in 28 gauge with 28 inch barrels. The longer barrels give the light small gauge more sighting plane and a steadier swing on crossing doves and flushing quail, and the 3 inch chambers are chrome plated. At about 6 lbs 12 oz it is light enough to carry from sunrise to dark.

What sets the White Lightning apart from the standard Lightning is the receiver: steel with a silver nitride finish instead of deep bluing, over polished blued barrels with a vent rib and a silver bead front sight. The stock is Grade II/III black walnut with a gloss finish, sharp 18 line per inch cut checkering, and the traditional rounded Lightning pistol grip with a matching rounded forearm. The small gauge stock ends in a plastic buttplate. The action is classic Citori with a full width tapered locking bolt, a hinge pin that runs across the receiver, and automatic ejectors that throw fired hulls clear and lift unfired shells for easy removal. The barrel selector lets you choose which barrel fires first on the gold plated trigger. Three Standard Invector flush choke tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder are included with a flat wrench.
