Browning Citori CX Composite 12 GA 32" 2rd Shotgun

A 32" barrel set on a 12 gauge over under is a target length, and the CX Composite wears it well. Long barrels swing smoother and stop harder, which is exactly what you want on a trap line or on long crossers at sporting clays. The tradeoff is a little more weight out front on a walk, and the CX uses lightweight barrel profiles to keep that in check. This is the same crossover Citori built for both games, just set up toward the clay target end of the range.

The Composite stock is synthetic with rubber overmolding in the grip areas, so it holds on in wet weather and does not care about a scratch. The comb adjusts, which matters more on a 32" gun than most shooters admit, since fit determines where the pattern goes and a target gun gets shot often enough to expose a bad fit fast. A vent rib runs the length of the barrels, the receiver is engraved matte blue steel, the Three Position Trigger adjusts for hand length, and the Inflex II pad handles the recoil of a long session on the line.
