Browning Citori CX 12 GA 30" Walnut Left Hand Shotgun

The Citori CX is Browning's crossover gun, built to break clay targets on Saturday and walk a field on Sunday without changing anything but the shells. This one is set up for left handed shooters: the palm swell in the gloss finished American walnut stock is cut for a left hand and the top lever is shaped to match. Barrels run 30 inches with a floating vent rib on top and side ribs between them, chambered for 3 inch shells.

Browning tuned the CX around a 60/40 point of impact, a compromise between the flat shooting field gun and the high shooting target gun. It puts a little more pattern above the bead than a hunting gun so rising targets stay visible, without throwing so high that a crossing bird gets missed underneath. The receiver is polished blued steel with gold enhancement, and the barrels carry the same polished blued finish. A three position trigger lets the shooter move the trigger to fit the hand. Between the 30 inch barrels and the way the weight sits between the hands, it swings like a gun meant to be shot a lot rather than carried a lot. Left hand guns in this class are not common.
