The 7mm Remington Magnum version of the BAR MK4 Hunter runs a 24" barrel and a three round magazine, the standard magnum configuration for this rifle. Long barrels and magnum cartridges belong together, and the extra length over the standard chamberings gives the powder time to work. The difference from a bolt gun shows up after the trigger breaks.
