Browning AB3 Pro Hunter Deluxe 270 Win 22" 4rd Maple Rifle

There are few better all around North American hunting cartridges than the 270 Win, and it is a natural fit for a rifle built to be carried. The Pro Hunter Deluxe pairs it with a satin finish light maple stock that has a dark maple forend cap and real checkering, which is a departure from the gray synthetic stocks that fill most gun racks now. The metalwork is matte blued, quiet under low light, and the barrel and bolt body both wear spiral flutes.

Twenty two inches of barrel keeps the 270 moving without turning the rifle into a club, and the threaded muzzle carries a radial brake that pulls a noticeable amount of push out of the shot. Browning's top tang safety puts the thumb right where it needs to be for a right or left handed shooter, and the bolt lock override button means you can cycle a live round out of the chamber with the safety still on. The hex shaped bolt knob is oversized on purpose. Four rounds ride in the magazine, an Inflex pad handles recoil at the shoulder, and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped so glass mounts without extra machine work.
