Browning AB3 Pro Composite 270 Win 22" 4rd Gray/Green Rifle

270 Winchester has been putting deer and elk on the ground since 1925, and it never needed a 26" barrel to do it. The AB3 Pro Composite pairs it with a 22" spiral fluted sporter barrel and a 4 round detachable box magazine, which makes a rifle that carries like a mountain gun and hits like something bigger without the punishment.

Fluting on both the barrel and the bolt body takes weight out and gives the rifle its look. The metal is matte blued and non reflective. The composite stock is gray and green, weather resistant, and capped with Browning's Inflex recoil pad. The muzzle is threaded and a protector is included, which not every hunting rifle offers. The receiver comes drilled and tapped, the tang safety sits where the thumb already rests, and a bolt lock override button lets the action be cycled with the safety on. The two piece bolt handle and teardrop knob make working the bolt from behind a scope straightforward. Nothing here is exotic. It is a plain, honest hunting rifle set up the way most hunters actually use one.
