Browning 1911-380 Medallion Pro 380 ACP 4.25" 8rd Pistol

John Browning designed both the 1911 and the 380 ACP, and the 1911-380 puts the two together at about 85 percent of the size of the original 45. That scale keeps the familiar grip angle and controls while taming the snappy feel most small 380s have, so recoil is light and follow up shots come fast. The Black Label Medallion Pro is the dressed up version with night sights and a Picatinny rail on the dust cover for a light or laser.

It works like a full size 1911: single action trigger, locking tilting barrel, beavertail grip safety, and an extended ambidextrous thumb safety. The 4.25 inch barrel has a target crown. The slide is blackened stainless steel with silver polished flats and serrations, and it rides on a matte black composite frame with an aluminum subframe and slide rails, which keeps weight near 17.5 ounces. Checkered rosewood colored grips carry a gold Buckmark inlay, and the flat mainspring housing, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and extended slide release round out the controls. The steel magazine holds 8 rounds and two magazines are included. It suits carry, range days, and anyone who wants a 1911 without the 45 recoil.
