Browning 1911 Black Label Medallion 250 Compact 380 ACP 3.63" 8rd Pistol

Browning built the 1911 Black Label Medallion 250 at 85 percent of full 1911 scale and chambered it in 380 ACP, which puts the classic manual of arms into a pistol small enough for a shooter who does not want a government model filling their hand. The frame is composite with a machined aluminum subframe and slide rails, cut with a beavertail at the rear and a Picatinny rail at the front. The slide is blackened stainless with silver brush polished flats and serrations, and the barrel is matte stainless at 3.63".

The commemorative work is in the grips, rosewood colored panels with a laser engraved flag design and a "250 Years of Freedom" mark. Sights are steel three dot. Capacity is 8 rounds, the action is single action the way any 1911 is, and the controls are scaled down to match the frame so a thumb safety and slide stop still fall where a 1911 shooter reaches for them. A pistol rug comes with it. Between the smaller chambering, the reduced scale frame and the commemorative grip panels, this one leans as much toward a collection as it does toward a carry rotation.
