Bergara Premier Long Action Magnum Bolt Face Receiver

This is the Bergara Premier action by itself, the same action used on Bergara's Premier Series rifles, sold as a starting point for a custom build. It is a long action with a magnum bolt face (.540 diameter). It is made from 416 stainless steel and comes in a raw stainless finish. Because it is a bare action, you pick the barrel, chambering, trigger and stock that suit the rifle you want, and a gunsmith fits the barrel.

The action is made to fit most Remington 700 style stocks and chassis, it accepts Remington 700 triggers, and it takes Rem 700 style scope bases with an 8-40 screw pattern. That means the huge Remington 700 aftermarket is open to you. Features include an enlarged bolt handle, a spiral fluted bolt body, a dual ejector, a sliding plate extractor, a pinned recoil lug and a Nitride bayonet style quarter turn bolt shroud. Barrel, trigger and stock are not included.
