Bergara BMR-X Steel 22 WMR 18" 10rd Rifle

The BMR-X Steel is Bergara's rimfire for match shooters and serious plinkers, chambered here in 22 WMR. Instead of a carbon wrap it runs an 18" heavy #6 profile steel barrel, and the extra weight (about 6.6 lbs for the whole rifle) keeps the sights settled when you are shooting off a barricade or a bag. The muzzle is threaded and comes with a thread protector.

The stock is drawn from Bergara's BXR: an adjustable length of pull, a vertical grip and a flat forend, so it fits much like a full size precision rifle. Inside is the Bergara Micro Rimfire action with match chamber tolerances, and the Bergara Performance trigger adjusts from the outside without pulling the action. A 30 MOA rail is included for scope mounting. The rifle comes with two detachable magazines, a 5 round and a 10 round. The 22 WMR hits harder than 22 LR, which makes it a solid choice for foxes, groundhogs and other small game as well as rimfire steel matches. Swivel studs are fitted for a sling or bipod, and the bolt is right hand.
