Bergara BMR-X Carbon 17 HMR 18" 10rd Rifle

The Bergara BMR-X Carbon in 17 HMR pairs the Bergara Micro Rimfire action with an 18" carbon fiber barrel, which keeps the rifle at about 5.7 lbs and easy to carry on a long walk after squirrels, prairie dogs and other small game. The stock takes its shape from Bergara's BXR precision chassis: adjustable length of pull, a vertical grip and a flat forend that sits steady on a bag or barricade. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and wears a thread protector, so a rimfire can or a muzzle device goes on without a gunsmith.

A 30 MOA Picatinny rail comes on the receiver, giving the scope extra elevation travel for the longer shots the 17 HMR is known for. The action has a precision match chamber and the Bergara Performance trigger is adjustable. It feeds from detachable magazines, and two come in the box: a 5 round magazine that sits low for hunting and a 10 round magazine for rimfire matches and long range sessions. Swivel studs take a sling or a bipod. This is a right hand rifle for shooters who want the feel of a full size precision rig in a light rimfire.
