Bergara B-14 Crest Carbon 300 Win Mag 22" 5rd Rifle

The Bergara B-14 Crest Carbon is a mountain rifle built for hunters who count ounces. It pairs a 100 percent carbon fiber stock, with an internal carbon spine for rigidity, with Bergara's CURE carbon barrel. This one is chambered in 300 Win Mag with a 22" barrel, so it has the reach for elk, sheep and big mule deer while weighing about 6.5 lbs bare. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and wears the Omni muzzle brake to keep recoil manageable in a rifle this light.

Metal is finished in Sniper Grey Cerakote to hold up to wet, cold backcountry weather. The stock has length of pull spacers and Bergara's M5 cutout, so it runs the included 5 round AICS detachable magazine but can be converted to a traditional floorplate. The B-14 action is a two lug design with a coned bolt nose and a fluted bolt, and the Bergara Performance trigger breaks clean. The receiver takes Remington 700 bases with 8-40 screws, so mounting your scope is simple. For a light magnum that still shoots, this is a serious option.
