Barrett M99 50 BMG 29" Rifle

Barrett's Model 99 strips a 50 BMG rifle down to the essentials. It is a single shot bolt action: load a round, close the bolt and fire. This version wears a 29" fluted match grade barrel, which trims weight compared with the 32" heavy barrel model, and a black finish over the one piece aluminum receiver extrusion. The three port high efficiency muzzle brake keeps recoil manageable, and the match quality trigger helps you make the most of the barrel's accuracy.

Few moving parts means few things to go wrong. The bolt locks up solidly, and quick release assembly pins let the rifle come apart for cleaning or transport without tools. A 13.75" steel M1913 rail with 27 MOA of elevation is fixed to the top of the receiver for your long range optic, and the rear grip accepts an adjustable monopod. Twist is 1:15", overall length is 47" and weight is about 23 lbs. A bipod and a hard case are included. It is a sensible way into 50 BMG for long range target shooters and collectors who value a rugged, uncomplicated rifle.
