Nearly a century after the original, the Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 still turns heads at any range, and this Deluxe Special Edition leans all the way into it. The receiver is machined steel finished in black with titanium gold appointments, matched with a gold plated buttplate and genuine American walnut furniture, the foregrip and buttstock that define the Thompson profile. Chambered in 45 ACP and feeding from a gold plated 20rd stick magazine, it runs as a semi automatic carbine with an 18 inch barrel wearing a Cutts Compensator that keeps the classic silhouette while remaining a standard title rifle.
Shooting one is half the fun. The heavy steel and walnut soak up 45 ACP recoil to almost nothing, and a Thompson on the firing line draws a crowd every time.
