About this product
The Rock Island Armory Traditional is a simple single shot 20 gauge built on a break action. The 20" contoured barrel is chambered for 3" shells, and an exposed hammer serves as the safety. The receiver has a silver anodized finish over a black parkerized barrel, and the stock and forend are polymer with a woodgrain look, so it reads as a classic single barrel without the upkeep of real wood.
Two butt pads come with the gun, so you can set the length of pull for a smaller shooter now and lengthen it as they grow. At around 5 pounds and short overall, it is light to carry through the woods and quick to point. Use it as a first shotgun for a young hunter, a truck or barn gun for pests, or a light rabbit and squirrel gun. There is little to break or adjust, and the 20 gauge kicks less than a 12 while still putting real shot on target.
