Fabricated from a single piece of T7075 aluminum and machined in-house on Area 419s Haas VF4SS four-axis center, this rail slides onto the dovetail and is tightened with a uniform clamp force across the entire length, ensuring the CZ457 will not budge under recoil or handling. Finished in Type III black hardcoat anodizing, the base ships with the necessary wrench for torquing the clamp screws and features a 30MOA elevation built in to extend effective long-range capability for shooters pushing 22LRs out to 300+ yards; a 15MOA configuration is also offered. Real estate at the front of the rail allows you to move the optic forward, which is especially beneficial when pairing higher powered scopes with the compact rimfire stocks, helping to maintain proper eye relief, cheek weld, and overall balance. This rail is designed to be slightly taller than traditional set-screw models, promoting a stable, repeatable mounting solution without sacrificing cheek weld.
