About the Apex S3 Steel 12
Apex S3 Steel with #2 shot: 1-1/4oz of plated steel pellets in a 3" 12 gauge hull at 1450 fps. The one piece wad follows the same internal design Apex uses in its TSS loads, aimed at better pattern retention than ordinary steel.
#2 steel covers big ducks and geese over decoys, making it a good middle choice between #4 and BB. It needs a 3" chamber. Sold in a 25rd box.
