A suppressor cover does two jobs: it keeps the mirage off your sight picture when the can heats up, and it keeps a hot can from cooking whatever it touches, including you. The Amend2 Hi-Temp cover is sized for a 1.5 inch diameter can at 4.5 inches of length, so check your tube before ordering.

The shell is 1000D CORDURA, a high tenacity nylon that resists abrasion, with a water repellent treatment that keeps it from fading and mildewing. Inside is a dual layer fiberglass and silicone sleeve rated to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit, which is what actually does the heat work. Retention is handled by Nomex hook and loop straps that hold at temperature and a metal tri glide buckle instead of a plastic one, since plastic hardware is the usual failure point on cheaper covers.
