Flat Dark Earth version of the 5.75 inch by 1.8 inch cover. The tan Kevlar carries the same 1000 degree rating as the black shell, so the color choice is cosmetic rather than a compromise on heat.

Burn Proof cuts each cover to the size ordered. The ends cinch down over the front and rear of the tube for a grip that holds through recoil instead of sliding. Fire resistant sleeving runs behind the shell. The result is a can that can be handled, gear that survives contact with hot metal, and a clearer picture through the optic on a warm barrel.
