The AGM Global Vision PVS-14E NW1 Gen2 Night Vision Monocular is an upgraded, rugged lightweight solution designed for versatile use in challenging environments, offering a compact 10.2 oz (290 g) form factor with a 26 mm F/1.2 lens system and 40-degree field of view that delivers clear 1x magnified imagery (with 3x and 5x options available) for handheld, head-mounted, or helmet-mounted operation. This model expands on the proven PVS-14 platform with a more compact lens and eyepiece, a flexible power delivery system that accepts AA or CR123 batteries, and an electronic polarity switching feature that eliminates orientation concerns during battery changes, ensuring uninterrupted power. It incorporates an Advanced Auto Shut-off System that preserves the photocathode tube by automatically turning the unit off when oriented out of use and back on when realigned, plus manual gain control and an automatic bright light shutoff to protect the device in sudden illumination. The PVS-14E includes a built-in IR illuminator, multiple mounting options, and is designed for reliability in damp or rugged conditions, backed by a 3-year warranty.
