The Aero Precision AR15 12" Enhanced M-LOK Handguard Gen 2 in FDE Cerakote delivers a lightweight, free float solution for your custom AR15 build, leveraging advanced M-LOK modularity beyond the traditional 1913 rail while maintaining mil-spec dimensions for strength and stability. Engineered to perfection, this handguard eliminates bulk without sacrificing rigidity, and its built in anti-rotation tabs, scalloped rails, and continuous top rail provide a clean, continuous mounting platform. The 1.72" inside diameter from the barrel nut cut to the forward end accommodates most muzzle devices and 1.5" suppressors, with a 1.78" inside barrel nut cut area diameter, and it pairs well with low profile gas blocks for a streamlined profile. As a Gen 2 design, it introduces quick disconnect sling sockets at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, plus enhanced milling along the flats to aid grip and add visual appeal, along with a refreshed continuous Picatinny top rail. Note that this handguard uses the BAR interface and requires the BAR Barrel Nut, and is specifically designed for the AR15/M4E1 platform and not compatible with the M5/M5E1 platform.
