The Proof Research ZERMATT RIMX PREFIT CARBON FIBER BARREL delivers a precision-ready upgrade for your rifle with a 16.5'' Sendero contour and a true 1-16 twist, optimized for the .22 Long Rifle platform to deliver consistent subsonic and standard loads. This carbon fiber barrel weighs about 2.8 lbs, balancing maneuverability with rigidity to help maintain point-blank consistency and reduce felt recoil, while the 1/2-28 muzzle threads enable easy attachment of devices or muzzle accessories. Built to a prefit standard, this barrel integrates seamlessly with compatible action systems, offering a stable platform for precise shot placement across field and range environments. The carbon fiber finish not only stands up to harsh field conditions but also helps shed weight without compromising stiffness, contributing to quicker recovery between shots and improved handling. With its Sendero contour, the barrel projects a clean, classic profile that supports steady aiming, enhanced tracking, and repeatable accuracy across a variety of hunting and target scenarios. Whether upgrading a dedicated rimfire rifle or building a precision-focused rimfire setup, this Proof Research barrel brings rugged performance, enduring stability, and purposeful design to your firearm.
