About this product
Proof Research made this prefit barrel for the Zermatt Arms Origin action in 7mm Backcountry, the high pressure 7mm built for short, light hunting rifles. It is 20" long in the Sendero contour with a 1:8 twist and a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle.
A short carbon fiber barrel is a natural fit for the cartridge, and at about 2.6 lbs it keeps a backcountry rifle easy to carry up the mountain.
