Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite 22 LR 4.4" 10rd FDE Pistol

The Mark IV 22/45 Lite is the lightweight member of Ruger's rimfire pistol family, and this version has a Flat Dark Earth receiver. The aluminum receiver keeps weight down to about 25 ounces, and the polymer grip frame follows the 1911 grip angle, so it feels familiar to anyone who shoots a 45. The 4.4" barrel is threaded 1/2-28, ready for a rimfire suppressor or muzzle device. A fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight come standard, and two 10 round magazines are included.

Like every Mark IV, it strips for cleaning with one button. Push the recessed button at the back of the frame and the barrel and receiver tilt up and off the grip frame without tools, then the bolt slides out and you can clean from the chamber to the muzzle. The internal bolt design keeps the sights fixed to the barrel for consistent accuracy. Light weight, low recoil and simple controls make it a good teaching pistol and an easy one to carry on a hike or through a long day at the range.
