Winchester Supreme BC Max 30 Caliber 175gr Bullets

The BC Max is Winchester's heavy for caliber 30 caliber bullet, here at 175 grains. The profile is built around long range flight stability: an extended boat tail at the base and a heat resistant tip at the nose.

Behind the tip sits a thick walled jacket, which is what gives the bullet controlled expansion and holds weight together through penetration instead of coming apart on impact. The large diameter tip starts expansion positively even out at long distance where velocity has fallen off.
