Winchester puts a 1oz lead rifled slug in a 2.75" hull for this Super Match load. The lead alloy is worked to obturate to the bore, which is how a rifled slug gets its accuracy out of a smooth barrel instead of a rifled one. 10rd box.

Super Match is Winchester's competition grade line, and the hull shows it: a thick tube and a high head that feed through box fed competition shotguns without folding. A heavy slug like this one hits with authority at slug gun distances, and the load is consistent enough to work up a dope card with.
