The Citadel is a shield style frame with a toric lens that follows the curve of the eye, so there is no distortion at the edges when you turn your head. This one wears the Captivate Tungsten mirror lens, a dark 14 percent transmission tint meant for bright open ground, in a matte black and tan frame.

Side shields pivot in and out depending on how much wind and debris need blocking. Rubber on the nose pads and temple tips keeps the frame planted when you sweat. The lenses are shatterproof and swap out in seconds when the light changes. The glasses meet ANSI Z87.1, ISO 12312-1 and the MIL-PRF-32432A ballistic standard, and block 100 percent of UVA and UVB.
