The 20-inch threaded barrel is suppressor and brake ready, making this rifle as comfortable behind a can as it is on a pack-in backcountry hunt. 6.5 PRC pushes 143-grain ELD-X class projectiles at magnum velocities, delivering flat trajectories and reliable terminal performance on elk, mule deer, and pronghorn.
Built on the forged Vanguard action, the Obsidian SB includes a match-quality two-stage trigger, fluted bolt with oversized handle, and a hinged floorplate that feeds reliably from the 5-round internal magazine. The all-black synthetic Monte Carlo stock is textured for positive grip in wet, gloved, or cold conditions.
