Weatherby Vanguard Arctic Pro 7mm PRC Rifle

Weatherby backs the Vanguard with a SUB-MOA guarantee, and the Arctic Pro is that rifle with the accessories already bolted on. Start with the barrel: cold hammer forged, Cerakoted against weather, and threaded at the muzzle. A brake comes with the rifle, and if the shooter would rather hang a suppressor there instead, the threads are already cut. The trigger is match grade, which in practice means a break a shooter can call rather than one they have to fight through.

What separates the Arctic Pro from a base Vanguard is the mounting hardware. The 20 MOA Picatinny rail on the action gives a scope back the elevation it would otherwise spend just getting to zero, which is the difference between running out of turret and having room left at distance. On the forend there is an Arca and Picatinny rail, so the rifle clamps to a tripod or takes a bipod without a stack of adapters in between. The synthetic stock handles weather the way the name suggests. Chambered in 7mm PRC, it has the reach for open country with recoil a shooter can live with across a full range session.
