Sixteen inches makes this the compact 6.5 CM in the Arctic Pro family. It is built to wear a suppressor, and with a can on the threaded muzzle the rifle is still shorter than most standard hunting guns. Everything else is straight Arctic Pro: cold hammer forged barrel, white Cerakote metal, synthetic Monte Carlo stock in a hand painted arctic pattern, Peak 44 rails front and back, match grade trigger, and Weatherby's SUB-MOA guarantee on the Vanguard action.
6.5 CM out of a 16 inch barrel gives up velocity compared to a 22 inch tube, and most hunters decide they do not care. Bullets in this caliber carry well enough that the loss shows up past 400 yards rather than at normal deer distances.
