Twenty six inches of cold hammer forged barrel is what 6.5-300 Wby Mag wants, and that is what this Arctic Pro gives it. The Vanguard action carries a SUB-MOA guarantee and a match grade trigger, the muzzle is threaded with a brake included, and the metal wears white Cerakote. The synthetic stock has a Monte Carlo comb and a hand painted arctic pattern. Peak 44 rails are fitted at both ends, 20 MOA Picatinny on the action and ARCA plus Picatinny on the forend.

This is the fastest factory 6.5 there is. A 127 to 140 grain bullet leaves the muzzle quicker than anything else in the caliber, which flattens trajectory and shortens the wind call at distances where most cartridges are already guessing. It is a long range hunting round first, so think mule deer, sheep and elk with the right bullet, and a paper puncher second, since barrel life is not its strength. The brake is not optional equipment on a cartridge this size. Use it, or run a suppressor.
