Weatherby's Mark V action was built for exactly this: cartridges too big and too fast for ordinary rifles. The Dangerous Game Rifle pairs that action with the 378 Weatherby Magnum, a round descended from the 416 Rigby case that hits far harder than its bore size suggests.
