Weatherby Mark V Carbon Compact 6.5 WBY RPM 22" Rifle

The BSF carbon barrel is the headline on the Mark V Carbon Compact. At 22 inches it strips weight out of the front of the rifle without going thin, and it is capped with Weatherby's Accubrake DST directional self timing brake. Behind it is the lighter 6-Lug Standard Action and a length of pull cut short for smaller framed shooters.

6.5 WBY RPM is Weatherby's own cartridge, a 6.5 built on a short, efficient case that reaches magnum velocity without a magnum sized action to hold it. In a rifle this light that combination reads well, and the brake keeps the sight picture from leaving the animal between the shot and the follow up. The stock is hand laid fiberglass with a raised Monte Carlo comb, finished black with brown, green and white sponge accents, and the comb shape keeps recoil off the cheek. Receiver and trigger guard are OD Green with the bolt, bolt knob and safety in graphite black.
