The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a purpose-built mountain rifle that pairs the legendary 9-lug Mark V action with a Peak 44 Bastion carbon fiber stock for ultralight carry and bench-class accuracy. Chambered in 7mm Weatherby Magnum, this is a long-range hunting platform built for elk, mule deer, sheep, and other big-country game at extended distances.

A 26-inch fluted, threaded barrel delivers the velocity the 7mm Wby Mag was designed for, while the Accubrake ST radial brake tames recoil to manageable levels. A TriggerTech field-tuned trigger breaks crisp and adjustable, and the Peak 44 stock keeps total weight down without sacrificing rigidity.
