Volquartsen Superlite 17 HMR 16.75" 9rd Rifle

The Volquartsen Superlite is a light semi auto rimfire made for carrying through a field or a long day of plinking. Instead of the stainless receiver on other Volquartsen rifles, it uses a CNC machined, anodized aluminum receiver with an integral Picatinny rail, which keeps this 17 HMR version at about 5.4 pounds. The barrel is Volquartsen's lightweight THM tension barrel with a carbon fiber sleeve, 16.75" long, and a removable Forward Blow Comp is threaded on at the muzzle with 1/2-28 threads.

17 HMR is a flat shooting, fast rimfire round that reaches out well past 22 LR range, which makes this Superlite a strong pick for prairie dogs, ground squirrels and other varmints. It feeds from 9 round magazines. There are no iron sights; mount a scope on the rail. It wears a black Hogue stock with a 13.75 inch length of pull, and the trigger group is anodized black to match. With the comp removed, the threads are ready for a rimfire suppressor rated for 17 HMR, and the light receiver keeps the rifle balanced even with a can and scope on top.
