Volquartsen Scorpion-X 22 LR 4.5" 10rd Pistol

The Scorpion-X is Volquartsen's 1911 style 22 LR target pistol built around its LLV-X upper. The X upper has multiple hole locations that let popular red dots mount directly to the top of the upper, keeping the dot as low to the bore as possible for fast pickup. There are no iron sights on this configuration; it is meant to wear an optic. The 4.5" stainless steel barrel has a laser hardened stainless breech inside an aluminum shroud, is threaded 1/2-28, and comes with a single port compensator installed.

The frame is Volquartsen's CNC machined, black anodized aluminum 1911 style VC Target Frame, so the grip angle and controls feel familiar to anyone who shoots a 1911. The Accurizing Kit gives a crisp single action trigger, and the DLC coated Competition Bolt runs smoothly. Hogue grips come standard. Capacity is 10 rounds, and two magazines, a comp wrench and a mainspring latch removal tool are included. At about 2 pounds it hangs steady on target for steel, bullseye and rimfire challenge shooters who want a dot sighted 22 that matches their centerfire 1911.
