Volquartsen Mamba-X 22 LR 4.5" 10rd Pistol

The Mamba-X is Volquartsen's Black Mamba with an upper built for red dots. Its LLV-4X 4.5" Competition Upper has an integrally machined universal red dot mount with multiple hole locations, so the optic sits right on the upper and as low to the bore as it can go. Lower dot height means faster pickup on the draw and less hunting for the dot between targets, which is exactly what steel and rimfire challenge shooters chase. The barrel is stainless in an aluminum shroud, threaded 1/2-28, with a single port compensator installed.

The upper rides on a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 frame with push button takedown, fitted with Volquartsen's Accurizing Kit for a crisp single action trigger. The Mamba-X combines features from the Scorpion target pistol with that easy takedown, so cleaning after a match takes minutes. Capacity is 10 rounds, and two magazines are included. Hogue grips and a black anodized finish round it out. At around 28 ounces it balances well with a dot mounted, and the overall length is about 11 inches. Bring your own optic; the pistol comes without one, ready for the red dot you already trust.
