Rimfire shooting happens inside 100 yards most of the time, and a big magnification range only gets in the way out there. Two power at the bottom end keeps the field of view wide enough to track a squirrel moving through branches. Seven power at the top is enough glass to hold on a small target at the far end of a range session without the picture turning to mush.

The 32mm objective keeps the scope sitting low over the receiver, which matters on a rimfire where the comb height is whatever the factory stock gives you. Mounting rings are included with the scope.
